Bourbon or Rum Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 T butter
  • 2 t cornstarch
  • 1/3 c brown sugar
  • 3/4 c milk
  • 1 T bourbon or rum

Preparation

Step 1

Melt butter in pan. Mix sugar and cornstarch together, then stir into melted butter. Add milk, continue to stir on medium heat until mixture begins to boil. cook until thick, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add bourbon or rum. Serve warm.
