Ingredients
- 1/3 /4 cups crushed strawberries, (about 1 quart)
- 4 cups sugar
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/2 bottle Certo fruit pectin
Preparation
Step 1
Thoroughly mix fresh, crushed strawberries with sugar and let stand for 10 minutes
Combine lemon juice with Certo and add to fruit mixture. Stir the whole thing for 3 minutes.
That's it for 5 cups of Jam.
Ladle your fresh homemade jam into any 5 scalded jars, (8 oz. or smaller, with screw tops.) Or use plastic container. Cover right away and let stand at room temperature for 24 hour to set.
