- 2 lbs. macaroni, cooked
- 1 lb. sharp cheddar cheese
- 2 sticks salted butter
- 2 large cans evaporated milk
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 small onion

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Place cooked macaroni noodles in a 9 x 13 inch oven safe dish
In a saucepan melt butter on low heat.
Add onions and saute until soft.
Cut cheese into strips.
Add the evaporated milk and 3/4 of the cheese to the saucepan.
Dissolve flour in 3 - 4 ounces of water and slowly add to the mixture once the cheese is completely melted.
Once the cheese mixture begins to thicken remove from heat and pour over macaroni.
Add the remaing slice of cheese on top of the noodles.
Bake for 30 - 45 minutes.
