Kalua Pork (crock pot version)

This is the most amazing slow cooked pork, Hawaiian style. Yum...best for making sandwiches - add your choice of BBQ. Easy to prepare ahead of time and pack somewhere

Ingredients
- 1 6-lb. pork butt roast (I have used a larger pork tenderloin)
- 1.5 Tblsp Hawaiian (red) sea salt
- 1-1.5 Tblsp liquid smoke flavoring

Step 1
1.Pierce pork all over with a carving fork. Rub liquid smoke over meat, then salt. Place roast in a slow cooker.
2.Cover, and cook on Low for 16 to 20 hours, turning once during cooking time.
3.Remove meat from slow cooker, let it rest on rack to drain drippings off. Shred, and add back drippings as needed to moisten.
