Spaghetti Light

Ingredients

  • 28 oz tomato puree
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp basil
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp rosemary
  • 8 oz cream cheese (Neufchâtel)
  • 1 lb cooked Italian sausage or chicken breast (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

In a large saucepan, heat tomato puree, white wine, garlic powder, basil, oregano, salt, and rosemary to boiling. Reduce heat.

Cube cream cheese and stir into tomato sauce. Cook until smooth.

Serve over pasta.
