Preparation
Step 1
I combine scalded milk with shortening then I add rest of ingredients, plus yeast mixture. Flour I add a few cups at a time, till you have add about 18 cups. I take out of bowl on to floured surface and knead about ten minutes; dough should be a nice soft dough. Oil the bowl and dough and place back in bowl cover let rise till doubled, about and hour. Punch down and rise again and punch down cover let rise. And then put into loafs into greased pans and cover and rise till nice size. Bake 375' for about 35 - 40 minutes Yields 6 -7 loafs
