Waldorf-Astoria Frosting

Ingredients

  • 3 Tablespoon Flour
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Butter
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Blend flour with milk. Cook until thick over low heat, stirring all the time. Remove from heat. Cover to prevent crust. Cool. Cream together butter and sugar and vanilla. Beat into the cooled sauce, 1 spoonful at a time. Cream and beat well. Can beat awhile, let it chil and then beat again.
