Ingredients
- 2 28 oz cans crushed tomatoes
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 6 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp sugar
Preparation
Step 1
1/ Heat oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic and cook , stirring often, until beginning to brown, about 2 minutes. Add tomatoes, salt and sugar. Bring to a boil, reduce heat simmer gently until sauce is slightly thickened 20 - 30 minutes
NOTE: Sauce will keep in the refrigerator for three days. You can freeze it for up to 3 months
