Ingredients
- 3 T butter
- 2 cloves minced fresh garlic
- 2 or 3 T chopped pecans
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/4 to 1/2 t cayenne pepper
- 3 cups (hot) cooked fragrant rice (such as basmati or jasmine rice)
- 1/3 c chopped fresh parsley
- 1/3 c chopped scallions
Preparation
Step 1
Heat butter, add scallions and pecans. Sauté for about 5 minutes. Add salt, cayenne pepper and garlic. Cook 3 minutes more. Add rice and parsley; mix well. Cover and keep on low heat until ready to serve! This recipe doubles well.
