Herbed Chicken Breasts

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless chicken breasts (use 4 and double the recipe)
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1/4 cup plain yougurt
  • 1/4 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon grated onion
  • sage, tyme, basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • pepper
  • 3 tablespoon grated cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/3 cup fine cracker crumbs

Preparation

Step 1

Sprinkle chicken with flour to lightly coat both sides. (Use a zip loc). Mix yogurt, lemon juice, onion, spices, salt and pepper in a bowl. Mix cheese, paprika and crumbs in a flat dish.

Dip chicken in yogurt mixture, then in crumb mixture to coat all sides. Put in greased baking dish, cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake until tender (about 15 minutes).
