Ingredients
- 1 lb. sweet italian sausage, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 green pepper, diced
- 1 4oz. can mushrooms
- 1 pint tomatoes (14-16 oz. can)
- 2 1/2 cups vegetable juice cocktail
- 2 cups water
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. thyme
- 1 cup uncooked elbow macaroni

Preparation
Step 1
In a large saucepan, brown sausage. Add onions and green pepper and cook until tender. Add mushrooms, tomatoes, juice, water, parsley, lemon juice, salt and thyme. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Add macaroni and simmer for 10 more minutes.
