Ingredients
- Dressing:
- Hearts of romaine lettuce
- 3 spring onions, diced fine
- 1 (15 oz.) can LeSueur very small peas, drained
- 1 1/2 c. shredded mild Cheddar cheese
- 2 med. tomatoes, diced
- 3 eggs, hard-boiled & chopped
- 1 lb. bacon, fried-crisp & broken in pieces
- 1 c. Miracle Whip
- 1/4 c. Apple cider vinegar
- 1 T. garlic powder
- 1 T. sugar
Preparation
Step 1
Layer salad ingredients according to above order.
Dressing:
Put all ingredients in a jar and shake. If too thin, add a little Miracle Whip. If too thick add a dot of milk to your preference. Pour dressing on top of salad and toss lightly just before serving.
Note: You can use 2 heads of romaine lettuce, cleaned and chopped or 1 package of prepared romaine lettuce.
