Ingredients
- 1 good sized onion
- 1 med. carrot
- 3 sticks celery
- 2 cloves garlic
- 3 bay leaves
- parsley
- 1 ground chuck
- 1 small can tomato paste
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1/3 c. olive oil
- red wine
Preparation
Step 1
Grind onion, carrot and celery. Brown the onion in oil and butter. Add spices, carrot and celery then add meat to brown. Add tomato paste, plus 2 cans of water, salt and pepper. Let simmer for 1 1/2 hours.
