Smoked pork tenderloins
- 2 pork tenderloins, trimmed of silver skin (about 1-1 1/2 #'s)
- 1/2 c apple cider or juice
- 3 T honey, warmed.
- BBQ rub
Drain meat and pat dry. Combine cider and honey and brush over outside of tenderloins. Season meat generously with rub.
Can wrap and chill for 2-3 hrs if desired.
When ready to grill, start Traeger on Smoke with lid open until fire is established - 4-5 mins. Set temp to 225 and preheat, closed, for 10-15 mins. Arrange tenderloins on grill and smoke until internal temp is at least 145 degrees (med-rare). About 2 1/2 to 3 hrs. We have left it on for 4 hrs before. Let rest for 5 mins before slicing.
