  • 1 can (8oz.) crushed pineapple in juice, undrained
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 pkg. (4-serving size) JELL-O Brand Pina Colada Flavor Gelatin
  • 1/4 cup light rum
  • Ice Cubes

Preparation

Step 1

DRAIN pineapple, reserving the juice. Meanwhile, stir boiling water into dry gelatin mix in large bowl at least 2 min. until completely dissolved. Stir in rum. Add enough ice cubes to reserved pineapple juice to measure 3/4 cup; stir until slightly thickened. Remove only unmelted ice.

REFRIGERATE gelatin l5 min. or until slightly thickened. Stir in pineapple. Pour evenly into six 5-oz. paper or plastic cups. Freeze 1 hour.

INSERT wooden pop stick into center of each cup. Freeze an additional 3 hours or until pops are firm. Remove from freezer 5 min. before serving; let stand at room temperature to soften slightly. Peel off paper cups just before serving.

Mokes 6 pops or 6 servings, one pop each.

Non-Alcoholic: Prepare as directed, omitting the rum and adding enough ice cubes to the reserved pineapple juice to measure 1 cup (instead of 3/4 cup).
