Ingredients
- 1 pound sea scallops, rinsed and patted dry
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
- Lemon wedges
Preparation
Step 1
1. Sprinkle both sides of the scallops with salt and pepper. In a large saute pan heat the oil over medium-high heat. Add the scallops and saute for 8 minutes or until they have a beautiful golden crust and scallops are opaque, turning once. Remove to a plate and let rest 2 to 3 minutes.
2. Arrange on individual plates and spritz with lemon to serve.
