Broccoli Noodle Cheese Soup

  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 3/4 cup chopped onion
  • 6 cups water
  • 6 chicken bouilllon cubes
  • 8 oz. fine egg noodles
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 10 oz. packages frozen chopped broccoli
  • 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
  • 6 cups milk
  • 1 lb. american cheese
  • Pepper

Preparation time 30mins


Step 1

In large stockpot (minium 6.5 quart):
Heat oil
Add onion and cook for 3 minutes
Add water and bouillon, bring to boil
Add noodles and salt so soup continues to boil, boil for 3 minutes
Add broccoli and garlic powder, cook for 4 minutes
Add milk and cheese a few slices at a time, stir until melted
Add pepper to taste
