Cranberry Kitchen Cookies

Note: 1 teaspoon orange extract may be substituted for orange juice. Milk must then be increased to 1/3 cup.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tbsp orange juice
- 1 egg
- 3 cups sifted flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 2 1/2 cups coarsely chopped cranberries
Preparation
Step 1
Cream butter and sugars together. Beat in the milk, orange juice and egg. Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Combine with creamed mixture and blend well. Stir in chopped nuts and cranberries. Drop by teaspoons onto greased cooky sheet. Bake at 375 F for 10 to 15 minutes.
