Ingredients
- 1/4 head of cabbage chopped
- Pinch nutmeg
- 1/2 carrot, grated
- 1 green onion, sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 hot dogs, scored
- Mustard
- Ketchup
Preparation
Step 1
Put cabbage in a large skillet and sprinkle with nutmeg over. Add carrot, onion, salt and pepper. Dot butter over mixture; add water. Cover and bring to a boil on high. Reduce heat and simmer about 10 minutes, stirring once. Place hot dogs on mixture and simmer covered about 10 minutes. May be served with ketchup and mustard.
