Ingredients

  • 8

    oz whole, fresh mushrooms , washed

  • 1/4

    cup liquid egg substitute

  • 3

    tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1/2

    cup Panko breadcrumbs

  • 1

    tsp garlic powder

  • Salt & pepper to taste

Directions

Preheat the oven to 475°F. Spray a nonstick baking sheet with non-fat cooking spray. Pat mushrooms dry with a paper towel. Place liquid egg substitute in a small bowl, In another small bowl, combine the Panko breadcrumbs, cheese, garlic powder, salt & pepper. Dip each mushroom into eggs, shake off excess and then roll in the breadcrumbs mixture, and set on the baking sheet. Bake in the oven for about 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
