My Favorite Cinnamon Rolls

Soft and tender cinnamon rolls and so easy to make! These rolls would be delicious with other fillings too!
Ingredients
- 1-1/4 cups skim milk
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil or canola oil
- 1/3 cup sugar (I use a 1/4 cup measure)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3-3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2-1/4 teaspoons bread machine yeast
Preparation
Step 1
1. Place all ingredients in order recommended by your bread machine manufacturer. Select dough cycle and start machine. When dough cycle ends, remove dough and punch down gently.
2. Roll out to about 12 x 15" inches and spread with butter. Sprinkle cinnamon-sugar mixture or other cinnamon bun filling over all and roll up tightly. Cut into as many buns as you want. I make 10. Preheat oven to 400° and then turn down to 375° when you put cinnamon buns in the oven. Bake 20 minutes.
MY NOTES: This also made a wonderful loaf of cinnamon-raisin bread in my 9-inch loaf pan. I added raisins to the dough, rolled it out, sprinkled it liberally with cinnamon-sugar and then rolled it up into a loaf shape. I baked it at 350 degrees, tented after 15 minutes, for 30-40 minutes.
