Ingredients
- Burger patties
- 5 oz crumbled blue cheese
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/2 tsp red wine vinegar
- 1/2 cup hot sauce such as Frank's
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted and cooled
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 cup thick blue cheese dressing
Preparation
Step 1
Prepare burgers if using ground beef.
In a small bowl, combine cheese, mayo, sour cream and vinegar until blended. In a separate small bowl, stir together hot sauce, butter and honey until blended.
Grill or broil burgers. Toast buns. Spread 1/2 tbsp blue cheese mixture on bottom of buns and top of each burger. spoon hot sauce mixture on top, drizzle with dressing, top with remaining bun half and serve immediately.
