Slow Cooker Chicken Legs with Herbed Onion Sauce (Clifford Nicholson)

Ingredients

  • 10 chicken drumsticks (about 2 lb), skin removed
  • 2 cups frozen small whole onions (from 1-lb bag), thawed
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine or chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup evaporated milk
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley or 2 teaspoons dried parsley flakes
  • 1 teaspoon dried tarragon leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried rosemary leaves, crushed
  • 1 can (10 3/4 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup

Preparation

Step 1

1) In 3 1/2- to 6-quart slow cooker, place chicken drumsticks. In medium bowl, mix remaining ingredients. Pour over chicken.

2) Cover; cook on Low heat setting 4 to 5 hours..
