Buck-Eye Candy

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pound sugar
  • 1 pound peanut butter
  • 1/2 pound butter
  • Chocolate chip bits
  • 1/3 bar of paraffin

Preparation

Step 1

1. Mix all ingredients by hand and form into small balls (roll in palm of hand the size of a buck-eye).

2. Place each ball with a toothpick inserted in each ball on wax paper on cookie sheet. Chill overnight.

3. Melt chocolate chip bits and 1/3 bar of paraffin in double boiler.

4. Dip ball quickly just half way. Return to wax paper on cookie sheet. Chill and serve. Refrigerate to keep.
