Ingredients
- 1 box raisins
- 2 cups water
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 2 Tab vanilla
- tiny pinch of salt

Preparation
Step 1
Make pie crust equal to two crusts. Line pie pan with one crust. To make raisin filling: Put raisins, water,sugar and salt in saucepan. Let boil real good for 5 minutes. Make up cornstarch thickening and pour thru a strainer. When thick, pour into crust and slice 1/2 stick of butter over each pie. Cover with pie crust and bake at 400 until done for 45 minutes. Cool before serving. Yield: 2 pies
