Nita's Stuffed Green Peppers (Kathy Little)

Ingredients

  • 6-8 green peppers, cut off tops and clean outside abd blanch in hot water.
  • 2 cups ground beef
  • 1 med. onion, chopped fine
  • 1 cup minute rice
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 pkg Lipton onion soup
  • 1 tsp garlic, minced
  • 1-8 oz tomato sauce

Preparation

Step 1

Mix well and stuff peppers.Stand peppers in baking dish. Pour sauce over peppers and bake at 350 for 90 minutes.

SAUCE

4 cups ketchup
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup tomato juice
Heat to boil and pour over peppers.
