Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter softened
- 1 cup sugar, divided
- 1 cup flour
- 1 pkg cream cheese
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 4 apples, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 cup almonds sliced
Preparation
Step 1
1. Heat oven to 425 degrees
2. Beat butter and 1/3 cup of sugar in small bowl with mixer on meidum until light and fluffy. Add flour, mix well. Spread onto bottom and 1 inch up side of 9 inch springfoam pan
3. Beat cream cheese and 1/3 cup of remaining sugar on medium speed until well blended. Add egg and vanilla mix well. Spread evenly over crust.
4. Combine remaining 1/3 cup of sugar and cinnamon. Add apples to bowl and toss to coat. Spread over cream cheese layer.
5. Bake 10 mins, reduce temperaturn to 375 and bake for 25 min until centre is set. Cool on rack and loosen torte from pan. Cover and refridgerate for 3 hours until serving.
