  • 5 lbs. boneless pork butt shoulder
  • 1-1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 c water
  • soft sancwich buns

Step 1

Combine all seasonings in small bowl and rub evenly over roast. Place meat in a slow cooker and add water. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours.
Let rest for 10-15 minutes, pull slice or chop to serve on buns with barbecue sauce.
