Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cheesecake Bars

I took the lazy way out and used pre-made cookie dough. It was super tasty and I don’t feel bad in admitting that I ate two servings, when you taste them you’ll know why I say that

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 5 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tube of refrigerated cookie dough (or you can make your own)
  • 10 oz cream cheese, room temp
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg, room temp
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Preparation

Step 1

1.Spray an 8x8 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
2.Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
3.Mix the melted butter, 1/4 cup sugar, and the graham cracker crumbs to create crust.
4.Press the graham cracker mixture into the baking dish to form the crust.
5.Bake the crust for about 5 minutes, then set aside to cool.
6.In a medium mixing bowl, mix cream cheese, and sugar until smooth.
7.Once cream cheese and sugar are mixed, slowly mix in the egg and vanilla, just until blended.
8.Pour the cheesecake mixture onto the already baked crust.
9.Then crumble the cookie dough and drop onto cheesecake filling.
10.Bake for about 30 minutes.
11.Cool completely before cutting and serving.
