Grandma Beauvais' Cherry Pie

Ingredients

  • Filling:
  • 1 box graham crackers
  • 1/2 pound butter
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • Mix Together. Bake 8-10 minutes at 350 degrees.
  • Can of sour cherries
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Drain cherries. Divide between 2 pies. Put on bottom of pies.

Blend remaining ingredients together and heat until thick. Pour into shell. Top with meringue. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
