Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c quick cooking oats
  • 1 c all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 c Shedd's Spread Country Crock Spread
  • 3/4 c peanut butter
  • 3/4 firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 c applesauce
  • 1/2 c raisins

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 350. In small bowl combine oats, flour and baking soda; set aside.
2. In large bowl, with electric mixer one medium speed, beat Spread and peanut butter until smooth. Beat in sugar, then egg, vanilla and applesauce. Beat in flour mixture just until blended. Stir in raisins.
3. On ungreased baking sheets drop dough by rounded tablespoon 2 inches apart. Dough will be soft.
4. Bake 15 min or until golden. Remove cookies to wire rack. Makes 3 dozen.
