Ingredients

  • 1 cream cheese (8 oz), softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 deep dish pie crust, unbaked
  • 1 can Cherry Pie Filling (or your preference)
  • 1 (8oz) tub cool whip
  • chopped pecans (optional)

Step 1

In mixing bowl with electric mixer, beat sugar and cream cheese until creamy, Add eggs and beat until mixture is light and fluffy. Pour into unbaked pie crust. Bake at 350 30-40 minutes or until puffed and mixture is solid. When you remove pie from oven, the center will drop. Let cool; top with pie filling and cool whip. Sprinkle chopped pecans on top of cool whip if you prefer. Good either way. Refrigerate.
