Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter or soy margarine, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 11/2 tsp egg substitute plus 2 tbsp water or 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 F (175 C). Lightly grease a baking sheet. Mix flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
In a large bowl, cream together butter or margarine and sugar. Add the egg substitute with the water and vanilla.
Mix the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients until combined. Add chocolate chips and blend well.
Drop rounded teaspoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, placiing them about 1 1/2 inches apart.
Bake for 10 to 15 minutes. Transfer the cookies to a wire rack and cool completely.
