Ingredients
- 2 3/4 2 ¾ C. quick cook or old-fashioned oats
- 1 C. flour
- 1 C. light brown sugar
- 1 C. walnuts (opt.)
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 C. butter/margarine, melted
- 1 3/4 1 ¾ C. MINI M&M’s
- 19-21 oz. pkg fudge brownie mix
Preparation
Step 1
Combine oats, flour, nuts and baking soda. Add butter until mixture forms coarse crumbs. Toss in M&M’s. Reserve 3 C. mixture, pat remaining mix onto bottom of 15x10x1 (jelly roll pan) to form crust. Pour prepared brownie mix over crust. Sprinkle remaining crumbs over top of brownie layer and pat down lightly. Bake 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out with moist crumbs. Cool completely. Cut into bars and store in tightly covered container.
