Ingredients

  • 2 cups of masa corn flour
  • 1 1/2 cups of very warm water
  • 2 tablespoons of lard
  • 1/2 teaspoons of salt

Step 1

Mix all ingrediants together to make a dough a little softer than Playdoh. Wrap tightly in seran wrap and let sit for at least 30 minutes.
Form into balls a little bigger than a walnut and place between to sheets of wax paper. Press in tortilla press until about 1/8 inch thick. Cook in a hot pan with a little oil until getting some brown spots. Turn over and do other side.
