Mulled Wine

Ingredients

  • 1 (1 qt) bottle cranberry juice
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 stick cinnamon
  • 6 whole cloves
  • 6 whole allspice
  • 1 bottle Burgundy wine

Preparation

Step 1

Mix cranberry juice and sugar in saucepan. Tie spices in cheesecloth and put in saucepan. Heat until boiling, uncovered. Simmer 5 minutes. Add wine and heat without boiling, and serve.
