Ingredients
- Vanilla Sauce (recipe follows)
- Assorted fruit*
- Quick chocolate Sauce (recipe follows)
- Mint Leaves (optional)
Preparation
Step 1
Spoon Vanilla Sauce onto each serving plate to cover bottom. Arrange fruit in sauce. Swirl Quick Chocolate to form Design. Garnish with mint leaves, if desired
*Variety of berries, mandarin orange sections, melon balls, halved seedless grapes, sliced peaches,kiwi fruit or plums'
*Vanilla Sauce*:
3 1/2 cups cold half and half or milk
1 package (4 serving size) instant pudding and pie filling, French vanilla or vanilla flavor
Pour half and half into medium bowl. Add pudding mix. Beat with wire whisk a until well blended, 1 to 2 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes or until slightly thickened. Makes 3 cups.
*Quick Chocolate Sauce*:
3/4 cup light corn syrup
1 package (4 serving size) instant pudding and pie filling, chocolate or chocolate fudge flavor
3/4 cup evaporated milk or half and half
Pour corn syrup into small bowl. Blend in pudding mix. Gradually add evaporated milk, stirring constantly. Let stand 10 minutes or until slightly thickened. Makes about 2 cups.
Note: Store leftover sauces in covered container in refrigerator.
