Ingredients
- 1 Bay leaf
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 4 Tbsp Minute tapioca
- 1/2 cup wine
- 1 can consomme
- 1 no. 2 can tiny peas
- 1 no. 2 can tomatoes
- 1 large onion-quartered
- 3 large sliced carrotts
- 3 lbs. stew meat
Preparation
Step 1
Mix together and place in covered dutch oven or casserole all ingredients.
May add cubed potatoes last hour of cooking. Bake at 250 degrees for six or seven hour.
DO NOT PEEK!
May omit consomme or wine and use less tapioca. May use frozen peas.
