Toffee Squares

Ingredients

  • Base:
  • 1 pkg. Yellow Cake Mix
  • 1/2 ½ C. marg/butter softened
  • 1 egg
  • Combine cake mix and margarine; mix with fork. Stir in egg to moisten. Press mixture in bottom of greased 9x 13 pan. Bake at 350 for 7 minutes.
  • Filling:
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • Stir in 6 oz. pkg chocolate coated toffee bits and 1 C. chopped pecans.

Preparation

Step 1

Pour over warm crust. Bake 22 to 30 minutes or until filling is set. Cool 1 hour or until completely cooled. Cut into bars and store in frig.
