The Best Spanish Rice Ever

Ingredients

  • 1 cup uncooked rice
  • 1/3 cup chopped onion
  • 2 Tbs olive oil
  • 1/3 cup chopped green peppers
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp mustard
  • 2 cups chopped canned tomatoes
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 4-6 pieces bacon, cooked and crumbled

Preparation

Step 1

Saute rice, onions and peppers in oil until veggies are tender. Add remaining ingredients, except bacon.
Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes or until liquid is absorbed and rice is tender. Add crumbled bacon, stir well.
