Salad - Pasta - w/Creamy Honey Yogurt Ranch

Substitutions: I used Frozen chopped Spinach in lieu of the Broccoli (I did not have any) and added honey to plain Greek yogurt, also I do not use pkg Ranch dip See Homemade mix below* I Made a 1/2 recipe of this salad and used 1 1/2 tsp dip mix to 6oz yogurt

*Homemade Ranch Dip Mix*
2 tsp Garlic powder,
2 tsp Dill weed,
1/4 Cup Dry NF Milk Powder,
2 Tbsp Parsley,
2 tsp Onion Powder,
Combine dry ingredients store in air tight container:
To make actual Ranch dressing using this use approximately 1 Tbsp per (or to your taste)
1 Cup Mayonnaise, 1/2 Cup Sour Cream, 1/4 Cup Milk

Ingredients

  • 1/2 a box of pasta, cooked - approx 6oz
  • 3/4 cup broccoli, blanched
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 6 slices of bacon, cooked; crumbled
  • 1/2 cup of carrots, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup of shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • DRESSING
  • 1 Pkg dry Ranch dip mix
  • 14 oz Greek Yogurt (can use 6oz plain and 8oz Honey flavored, or plain adding honey to your liking)

Preparation

Step 1


To make: combine pasta vegetables and cheese in a large bowl, next in a small bowl combine the ranch dip mix and yogurt until well combined let sit for about 10 minutes for the flavors to meld.

Next add dressing mixture to the pasta and vegetables mix well to combine, chill at least 30 minutes.

Serve cold.
