5-Minute Blackberry Crisp

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup frozen blackberries
  • 1 tablespoon no-calorie granulated sweetener (or 1 1/2 packets of choice)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 bar (1/2 package) Nature Valley Oats ’n’ Honey Granola Bar, broken into pieces
  • Light whipped topping for garnish (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

1. In a small microwavable bowl, mix together the berries, sweetener, and cornstarch. Microwave for 1 minute.

2. Remove and top with the granola pieces. Serve with the whipped topping.

Marlene Says: While fresh is best most of the time, that is not the case here. Frozen berries exude more liquid when they cook which creates the sauce with this berry crisp. Assorted frozen berries also work great.
