Suzy's crock pot cheese roast

Ingredients

  • 1 2-3# beef roast
  • 1/2 C water
  • 1-2 C cheddar or Colby cheese
  • 1 onion chopped or sliced
  • 1/2 C milk
  • 2-3 T flour
  • salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Place roast and onions in crock pot/slow cooker and allow to cook on low several hours until desired doneness. Add cheese and continue to cook until cheese melts. Remove roast from pot and whisk in milk and flour to make gravy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
