Ingredients
- 1/4 cup shortening
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups bran

Step 1
Cream shortening and sugar, add molasses and eggs. Beat well. Add milk, then bran. Combine dry ingredients and add to liquids. Bake at 400°F for 18 – 20 minutes.
