Ingredients
- Brownies:
- 2 C. sugar 1 ½ C. flour
- 1/2 ½ C. baking cocoa ½ tsp. salt
- 1 C. vegetable oil 4 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla ½ C. nuts (optional)
- Combine sugar, flour, cocoa and salt. Add oil, eggs and vanilla; beat at medium speed for 3 minutes. Stir in nuts. Pour in greased 9x13. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Cool completely.
- Filling:
- 1/2 ½ C. butter, softened
- 1/2 ½ C. brown sugar
- 1/4 ¼ C. sugar
- 2 T. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 C. flour
- Cream butter and sugars. Add milk and vanilla; mix well. Beat in flour. Spread over cooled brownies; chill until firm.
- Glaze:
- 2 T. butter
- 3/4 ¾ C. nuts (optional)
- 1 C. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Step 1
Melt choc. Chips and butter in saucepan; stirring until smooth. Spread on top of filling. NOTE: may need to add milk if becomes pasty and hard to spread. Sprinkle nuts on top, pressing down lightly.
