Dijon Tri-Tip Roast

Ingredients

  • 2-3 lb Tri-Tip Roast
  • Dijon Mustard
  • 3/4 c Bread Crumbs
  • 2 Tblsp Parsley, chopped
  • 1 Tblsp Onion, finely chopped
  • 2 Garlic Cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp. Thyme Leaves, dried
  • 1/4 c Butter

Preparation

Step 1

Combine bread crumbs, parsley, onion, garlic and thyme then mix in the butter. Blend until the butter is evenly distributed.

Spread the tri-tip with the mustard (coat entire roast) place the roast on a rack in a shallow pan and pat the crumb mixture into the mustard on the top.

Cook for 45-50 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches desired temperature. Rare 140, Med 150, & Well-done 155

Let the roast rest for at least 10 minutes before carving. Slice thinly against the grain of the meat.
