Ingredients
- 3 pounds ground beef
- 32 ounces fresh mushrooms, chopped
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 8 cups water
- 4 Tablespoons beef base
- 2 16oz cans diced tomatoes
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 cup minute rice
- 2 Tablespoons Ground Thyme
- 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- salt and pepper to taste

Preparation
Step 1
Cook ground beef and onion. Add water, beef base, mushrooms, diced tomatoes and seasonings. Boil on low for 30 minutes. Add minute rice, cover and simmer for 30 minutes longer.
Good with cornbread!
