Shahi Samosa

There is nothing like shahi samosa, if you eat one you will never forget.

Ingredients
- Filling:
- 2 cup fine flour
- 1 cup water
- 2 tbsp oil
- Salt to taste.
- 4-5 potatoes
- 1/2 cup green peas
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin seed(jeera)
- 1/2 tsp mustered
- 1 tsp dry mango powder
- 2-3 green chilli
- 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
- 6-7 cashew nut (kaju)
- 8-10 raisin (kishmish)
- Salt to taste
Preparation
Step 1
1. Take fine flour in a big bowl, add 2 tbsp oil, 1/2 tsp salt, mix it, add
some water, make a dove, keep it for 15-20 mins.
2. Boil potatoes, peel them, cut half of potato into small pieces, mesh
remaining half well.
3. Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan, add mustered, cumin seed, green chili, red
chili powder, turmeric powder, salt, potatoes, peas, cashew nut,
kishmish, dry mango powder, coriander leaves, mix it well. Stuffing is
ready.
4. Make a small boll of dove, Roll the ball with the rolling pin into a
slightly thin puri,cut it into 2 similar pieces.
5. Take a semi-circle piece of puri, give it a shape of cone. Seal along
the fold.
6. Now fill 1 tbsp potato masala in it, wet your finger, run it along edges
of dough with water,seal edges properly. Prepare with rest of dough in
the same manner.
7. Heat enough oil in a pan to deep fry. Reduce flame to low medium, drop
2-3 samosas into oil, deep fry them till golden brown. Remove onto
absorbent paper.
8. Serve hot with green/tamarind chutney or sauce.
