Ingredients
- 8 oz. Semi-sweet chocolate squares, divided
- 1 pkg. chocolate cake mix
- 1 3.9oz. pkg. chocolate instant pudding mix
- 4 eggs
- 1 C. sour cream
- 1/2 C. oil
- 1/2 C. water
- 1 8oz. tub cool whip
- 3/4 C. toasted pecans, chopped
Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven to 375*. Melt 2 chocolate squares. Beat cake mix, dry pudding mix and next 4 ingredients with mixer until well blended. Add melted chocolate, mix well. Pour into 15X10X1" pan sprayed with cooking spray. Bake 20-22 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean from center. Cool 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, microwave remaining chocolate squares and cool whip in bowl on high 1 1/2 minutes or until chocolate is completely melted and mixture is well blended, stirring after 1 minute. Cool 15 minutes, spread onto cake. Sprinkle with nuts.
