Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies (from the Ambrosia Chocolate Chip bag)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 2 cups quick oats
  • 2 cups (12 ounces) Ambrosia All-Natural Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 F. In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Mix in eggs and vanilla. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Add to creamed mixture. Blend thoroughly. Stir in oats and Ambrosia Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips. Mix well. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake in preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove from oven and cool for one minute. Remove cookies from cookie sheet and place on a cooling rack.
